
NAD’s long-awaited high-end AV range, the Master Series (comprising the M55/M15/M25) has scooped the Best High-end home theatre category in the European Imaging and Sound Association Awards (EISA).
The EISA citation proclaims: “For high-end home theatre, the combination of the NAD M55 universal disc player, M15 processor and M25 multi-channel amplifier is the perfect choice. The M55 player can play CD, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, SACD and MP3, and thanks to a Faroudja DCDi chip, it’s able to upscale any video source to 720p or 1080i via HDMI.
“Its 12-bit/216MHz video converters allow you to experience stunning pictures from component video. The brain in the system, the NAD M15 surround processor with HDMI video switching, able to decode practically every home theatre sound formats, and is upgradeable for future compatibility. Completing the set, the M25 is a 7x160W power amplifier, delivering rock-solid home cinema experiences with enough power to lift your roof, yet with all the fine detail to satisfy even most demanding audiophile”.
