There’s light at the end of the tunnel for advanced Blu-ray features. Fox says it will use the sci-fi thriller Sunshine to debut picture-in-picture interactivity. The feature will allow viewers to watch movie-makers talking about the production of the film in a separate window from the film. Nearly all current Blu-ray players will be unable to access the feature, but Fox VP Steve Feldstein says that he expects profile 1.1 BD players in the market able to use the feature when the film debuts in January.
