Japanese robophiles will be heading to the 2007 International Robot Exhibition this week. The four day event, which runs at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, is the world’s leading showcase for all manner of robotic innovation. Organised by the Japan Robot Association, it promises to feature creations from over 199 companies, destined for medical, security and cleaning jobs. The final day will also see a wrestling match between bad-tempered bipedal ‘bots.
