LCD maker ends patent dispute with LG.Philips

LCD panel maker LG.Philips has ended five years of litigation with rival Taiwanese LCD producer Chunghwa Picture Tubes, over alleged patent violations. An out-of-court settlement will allow CPT to continue making and distributing its LCD screens.
