2007 was the biggest year yet for LCD TV. Shipments of LCD screens reached nearly 400 million during the year, with year-on-year figures leaping 70 per cent in Q4. According to market analysts DisplaySearch, the average screen size also grew by 10 per cent. Samsung continues to be the biggest supplier of TV panels, followed LG.Philips and AU Optronics.
