Sony has signed up to an initiative led by the Worldwide Fund for Nature to reduce reduce global warming. It has joined 10 other multinationals, including Hewlett-Packard and Nokia, in jointly adopting a document known as the Tokyo Declaration, which calls for the world’s greenhouse gas emissions to be reduced by more than 50 percent by 2050.
