Terrestrial digital platform Freeview continues to go from strength to strength. The company has announced that 9.7 million Freeview-branded TV products were sold during 2007, a jump of 64 per cent YOY. During the final quarter of the year alone, 3.8 million Freeview embedded products were purchased by switch-over savvy consumers. Freeview PVRs have also been steadily finding an audience. There are now more than 250,000 Freeview PVRs in use in the UK.
